Words I Write To Say What’s Right

Words I Write To Say What’s Right

These words I write without fright, to say what’s right.
We’ve all been told many lies.
Old age. Lack of health, lack of wealth.
To many pretend. Things aren’t always bien.
Not everyone has real friends.
Lets bury most of our funds.
Tomorrow the world could come to an end.
There’s a reason why so many are numb.
Many don’t bend. Compassion ain’t within them.
Some things don’t mend.
Lies, deceit. They ain’t right.
Chastised, judged, used, much spite.

Writing, Thoughts 2022

Writing Thoughts, 2022

Pancakes with blueberry toppings. When I’ve got nothing to write, I write about nothing. Then, I’ve got something to write about. Compassion, tact, Russian Blue Cats, Rabbits. Anger, jerks. There are people in this world worthy of the word hate. There are things in this world so horrific, they’re unforgivable. There aren’t any winners in war, only losers. There isn’t any art in war. There are good things in this world. Good conversations, smoothies, fairs, prayers, God. Walking under the moonlight and stars on a brisk city night. Cool things from the past, Pagers, Typewriters, Service Merchandise, Bradlees, Saturday Morning Cartoons, the 1980’s. Dave and Busters, book store cafes.
Birds chirping early in the morning.
