The United States Mint is producing three different 2014 National Baseball Hall of Fame dome shaped commemorative coins. They are producing clad half dollars, silver dollars and $5.00 gold coins. These coins will be produced in a limited quantity only. There will be 750K half dollars, 400K silver dollars and 50k $5.00 gold coins.  These coins will be sold as either Proof or Uncirculated coins via the US Mint website. The half dollars will be starting at around $20.00, the silver dollars around $50.00 and the $5.00 gold coins will be offered at around $440.00.  The coins will go on sale starting March 27th 2014 at 12:00 noon. The us mint produces commemorative coins on a regular basis, but what makes these coins so great is that they are not flat like your normal coin.
