January 1st, 2022 by No comments »
In 2020 I posted a blog post with bunch of questions without the answers. The below post is similar, with different questions.

* What are some of the things you’ve done, for which you didn’t apologize, though, should have apologized?

* During the course of your life, who were / are the people who have cared about you the most? Why did they care about you? How much do you know about them? What are the things you don’t know about them?

* During the course of your life, who are the people you’ve cared about the most? How did you show them you cared? How much do you know about them? What are the things you don’t know about them?

* If you owned your own TV channel, what shows would play?

* What things do you dislike? What things do you like?

* Can the murder of a person’s life take place over many years? Can thousands of people take part in the murder of a single person’s life?

* Do you use words, words where your own personal definition of the word differs from the definition in the dictionary?

* What unique things have you done, things the majority of others haven’t done?

* If you were ever married or in a long term relationship, what did you learn from your marriage or relationship?

* Who are the people who made a negative difference in your life? Who are the people who made a positive difference in your life?

* What are some things you don’t know?

* How many items have been stolen from you? Did you ever find out who stole your items? Were they recovered?

* What are some things you did regularly in the past, you don’t do anymore?

* What was the worst decision of your life? What was the best decision of your life?

Vieja, Viejo Together

January 1st, 2022 by No comments »

It would have been great if we grew old together.
Vieja, Viejo together.
Slowed together.
Grayed together.
Wrinkled together.
Hobbled down the street together.
Stayed together.
Vieja, Viejo together.

It would have been great if we grew old together.
Vieja, Viejo together.
Slowed together.
Grayed together.
Wrinkled together.
Hobbled down the street together.
Stayed together.
It would have been great if we grew old together.
Vieja, Viejo together.

When Life Was Good

January 1st, 2022 by No comments »

When life was good.
Didn’t have to wear a hood.
I lived indoors.
Had a life.
Had a wife.
We laughed.
We joked.
When life was good.
Didn’t have to wear a hood.

When life was good.
Didn’t have to wear a hood.
I sang.
I danced.
I laughed.
I joked.
When life was good.
Didn’t have to wear a hood.
Those days went by fast.
Now just memories of the past.
When life was good.

When life was good.
Didn’t have to wear a hood.
I lived indoors.
Had a life.
Had a wife.
We laughed.
We joked.
When life was good.

When life was good.
Before the streets.
Before the cold.
Before I had to wear a hood.
When life was good.

Voices In Your Head

January 1st, 2022 by No comments »

When the voices in your head get to loud.
Slow em down.
Drown em out.
Try to forget.

When the voices in your head get to loud.
Turn the music up.
Close your eyes.
Move to the sounds.
Try to forget.

When the voices in your head get to loud.
Slow em down.
Drown em out.
Try to forget.

When the voices in your head get to loud.
Turn the music up.
Close your eyes.
Move to the sounds.
Try to forget.
When the voices in your head get to loud.

Hooded Sweatshirts in The Hood

January 1st, 2022 by No comments »

Hooded sweatshirts in the hood,
standing on the street corner.
New sneakers, baggy jeans.
Hooded sweatshirts in the hood,
standing on the street corner.
Abandon buildings. Barred doors.
Payphones, Fire hydrants.
Hooded sweatshirts in the hood,
standing on the street corner.
Five and Dimes, Bicycles.
Flashing lights.
Hooded sweatshirts in the hood,
standing on the street corner.
New sneakers, baggy jeans.
Hooded sweatshirts in the hood,
standing on the street corner.

I’ve Lost

January 1st, 2022 by No comments »

I’ve been married.
I’ve been divorced.
I’ve been a winner.
I’ve been a loser.
I lost to the years.
To many years past.
I lost friends.
Many didn’t last.
I lost to society.
I didn’t find my niche.
I lost to capitalism.
I lost to poverty.
I lost to malnourishment.
I’ve lost to health.
I lost the excitement of life.

Writing, Thoughts 2022, V2

Walking in the ocean where the waves mesh with the sand. An early morning bike ride, stopping over a river, watching the fish jump out of the water. Wild horses running through a field. Art is beautiful. The art of war isn’t. Late nights, midnight snacks, flirtatious chats. Christmas lights in the city, ever so pretty. Bright stars, deep within the night sky. Lounging, holding another tight within your arms, held tight within another’s arms. Warm bodies. Kind words. Sensual scents. Heartbeats. Thriving, striving, alive, spontaneous, laughing, living, yearning, flirting. Long hair, summer dresses blowing lightly from a cool ocean breeze. Pedaling a bike through slow moving traffic on a busy city street. Messenger bags. Duffel bags, Leather shoulder strap purses.

I’m Thinking Of A Women

February 10th, 2021 by No comments »

I’m thinking of a women,
with long hair,
sensual scents as she nears,
plump breasts,
a warm touch,
kind, doey eyes.
I’m thinking of a woman,
with a smile that slowly brightens,
like a morning sunrise,
a pleasant personality, natural, alluring,
sometimes energetic,
sometimes compassionate,
sometimes vulnerable,
snuggling together, late at night,
under the covers,
body heat,
slow, soft heart beats,
as we fall asleep.

A Letter

February 10th, 2021 by No comments »

A letter to someone who died before their time, from someone who didn’t get to live.

I wonder if you grew old, grew old like I did.
I slowed. I dose.
Life passed me by, long before I started to slow, started to dose.
You perished, passed away.
The parties. The women. The good times we didn’t have.
We missed out. Maybe we got jipped.
What if you survived and I died.
At least one of us would have lived.
